May I know what type of activity .. seems no one responded here..why not discuss abt something about the community service

im planning to arrange lunch for an ashramam somewhere in November.

If anyone interested to join, let me know..

There is a Asharam in Klang who is less sponsored and they are in need of donations. Childrens between 6 -13 yrs old. All indians. Girls & Boys mix. They need continuos support and any form of donations. At the moment they need:-

1) Sleeping Mat (done)
2) Blankets (done)
3) Slippers
4) Pyjamas
5) Clothes
6) Provisions/grocery
7) Any other item that is useful for the children.

My sister's fly and mine have arrange for a deepavali dinner for the children plus a goodie bag with stationery, blanket, mattapoo's, note books etc.

FYI:- They are less sponsored and/or dont get much sponsors/donation because the children are not mix ......they are all indians.

My family and frens visited the Karunai illam on 12/10/08, we bought for them new punjabi suits, made for them some murukus...atherasam.... ghee urundais... and also provided lunch on 12/10/08

the same day we visited the old folk homes in pj....
gave them new cloths....palagarams and also lunch...

the next visit will be next month or in december...
