Require info regarding tamil school

Tue Sep 10, 2013 8:52 pm by Positivevibe

I just moved from Chennai, I am looking for admission for my 6 year old kid.
After my extensive search, understand that I can place my kid only in international school, as both of us are holding only professional visa.

Can someone suggest me, if there is any private or tamil school which will admit foreign national?

Do you send your kids to private tuition after school or do you teach them yourselves? What are the pros and cons of sending kids to private tuition after school? Is it an unnecessary burden for the kids or is it seen as much needed assistance for the kids in terms of education?

Bogus Universities & fake degrees

A follow up to the discussion we started way back in the little india days. I found this one article dated Jan 2008 about the now famous International Irish University which i was following closely. It was quite an elaborate operation with graduation ceremonies etc.

Now the website is empty.

Private School

Tue Sep 09, 2008 11:41 pm by VJeyaa

Can someone from the education line give me some pointers about private schooling? I have been thinking about this recently as my daughter has come of enrollment age to the primary school. My current considerations are:

1. Sekolah Sri Murni
2. Sekolah Sri Chempaka
3. Convent Bukit Nenas (my personal preference)

We are also thinking of registering to a nearby Govt school, as a "just in …

Post by rishi Thu May 13, 2010 6:04 pm

ok ppl, here is the story.

Mr A is in love with Ms K. Ms K is a very pretty, classy and super modern gurl. In fact, they met at a club and Mr A fell in love with her. Mr A makes lots of money and is a very stable person in terms of finance and job. He is also from a very cultured family with strong family values. Ms K on the other hand is from a broken home. Her parents are seperated and the mum has more than one boyfriend.

Anyway, Mr A manages to get Ms K into a relationship. But soon, he took her for granted a bit. Being her natural self, K asked for a temporary 'break-off' in order to make A appreciate her just the way when he was trying to tackle her initialy. (faham-faham la)

But A gets pissed off as he thinks K's decision is a scratch on his image and repo. He strats bringing up all the old stories of arguments that happened between them and insulted her. He used back all the secrets she told him to degrade her. He even went around telling some of her 'secrets' to his friends and said that she was bad and etc.

Soon he met another gurl (M) who also has some bad past but yet more of a family gurl who would suit his family. He asked her to tell him all her past stories as he wants to starts a fresh relationship with no secrets. She follows his words and in a short time, they commit for a relationship. Unfortunately, not long after that, the guys uses back the M's bad past story to say that she is not suitable for his family.

Now the A wants to go back to K. He says that he has been in love with K all this time and its just that he never realized it. He knows that she will not be suitable for his family but he says he can't take her out of his mind. So M was just like a substitude lover for A. It didn't go far from there.

-end-

So, whatz ur opinion about A's action? Should he go back to K? Should K accept him? Should A go for for M instead? Should M take him back?

A is totally not focused in his goal. He is very immatured and need some growing up. He should go for some sabatical leave before coming back and looking for wife. Both girls should stay away form A.
Life will be miserable with guys who are still growing up and emotionally infested with infiority complex.
