sorry to hear abt your car problem maya.... maybe get another one soon. For a lady, just get something smaller and safer. Something that doesnt attract the theives. The Myvi is not bad. Chevy Aveo is another ladies' ride.

ya J, i'll be getting one but not now.... let the stolen car issue settle with the police, insu co and bank. i still have to pay the instalment... once the insu co closed the file and forward the claim and pay the bank... i'll be able to make a decision.

I dun know how much this insu co going to value the car (they say the follow the market value). But till todate no new abt the valuation.... with that i'll know whether there will be any balance o/standing that i need to pay the bank or not.

Looking at the economy, i dun want to make a fast decision and end up with paying 2 HP loans.

Rishi Baba,

The bank won't tarik my car..... but the interest will be accumulating...... i hire & purchase the car from the bank..... the car belongs to me only when i have settled the full loan amount with the bank...

By paying the instalment.. it will help to reduce the settlement amount... incase the insu co value the car less than what i owe the bank..... then the burden wont be so much to when settling and closing this file.

Hopefully the valuation will be just nice and i'll hv extra money to pay as deposit for the new car.
